I am Bita Mousavi, an Iranian attorney-at-law, and I have practised in Iran for nearly two decades. A file is never only a legal issue; it is part of a client’s life, capital and peace of mind. Defending those rights is a professional and personal commitment.
My practice is commercial law, transport, oil and gas and, in particular, real estate — sale, lease and cross-border property investment. For years I have acted as legal counsel and deputy with a Dubai firm of licensed UAE advocates that has served Iranians for more than 25 years.
We draft in Persian, Arabic and English. Membership of the International Bar Association and its arbitration, oil-and-gas and logistics committees, senior membership of the Swiss Arbitration Association, a FIATA diploma and specialist IATA courses in Switzerland, and membership of the Tehran Chamber and the Iran–UAE Joint Chamber are working tools, not decoration.
