How do I request advice?
Use the consultation form, phone or WhatsApp. After the initial review, scope and next steps are confirmed in writing.
Can you act if I am outside the UAE?
In most matters, yes. With a limited power of attorney and a licensed UAE advocate, many steps proceed without you travelling.
In which languages do you draft?
Explanation is in Persian. Formal instruments and contracts are drawn in Arabic, English or all three, to the same standard.
Do you also practise in Iran?
Yes. The Tehran office covers Iranian court work, Iran–UAE contracts and coordination on enforcing outcomes.
How are fees set?
After the initial review we confirm the scope and fee in writing. There are no hidden charges.
Does this firm replace a licensed UAE advocate?
No. Where rights of audience in UAE forums are required, our licensed Emirati counsel appears and Persian-speaking counsel run the file.
Can I own 100% of a UAE company?
Yes in most mainland activities under the 2021 companies law, and in free zones. A few reserved activities still need case-by-case review.
Is it safe to pay sale proceeds into an agent’s account?
No. Funds should go to an account in your name or a proper escrow — not a personal attorney or agent account.
Is bouncing a cheque still a crime?
Generally no, unless forgery or a bad-faith stop-payment order is proven. Recovery is mainly civil and through execution.
Can I form the company from Iran?
In most cases yes, if the power of attorney is tightly limited to defined steps.
Can foreigners buy in Dubai?
Yes, in designated areas. Tenure, location and project status must be checked first.
Does buying property give residency?
In some cases, depending on value, property type and current rules. Buying only for residency needs an up-to-date review.
What is Ejari?
Dubai’s tenancy registration system. Without it, proving the tenancy and using many services becomes hard.
Can a landlord raise rent freely?
No. Increases follow the index and statutory notice.
Should governing law be Iran or the UAE?
It depends on where performance happens, where the counterparty’s assets sit, and which forum you can actually use. The wrong choice can make a judgment unenforceable. We review this before you sign.
Arbitration or the Dubai courts?
Arbitration often fits cross-border and confidential deals; local execution matters can move faster in the courts. The forum must match the file.
Cargo arrived damaged in Dubai — what now?
Give written notice immediately, commission an independent survey and send us the bill of lading and policy. Time-bars are short.
Is the forwarder or the line liable?
It depends on the contractual role and the transport document. We run both paths in parallel.
I was dismissed without notice — what am I owed?
You may be owed notice pay, end-of-service and in some cases compensation. Send the contract, payslips and the termination messages.
Is a non-compete enforceable?
Only if time, place and subject are reasonable. An over-broad clause is often narrowed or dropped.
